Independent Test Lab

The goal of this facility is to provide the ideal venue for its customers to develop their products and services. The ITL gives the cable TV industry additional resources to address near‐term product challenges as well as long‐term innovative goals

DV-TIDE

DV‐TIDE is a PC‐based platform to simulate a cable headend to test, integrate, develop, and evolve software in cable devices. Cable headends are designed as production systems to deliver television programming and associated data to a very large number of cable devices on a cable network. Headends are not designed to meet the needs of engineering testing.

Bitstreams

Bitstreams are synthetic test streams popular in the satellite industry—and growing in the cable industry—used to drive the test hardware that simulates over-the-air signals.
