Solekai Systems Management Team

Martin Caniff: Founder and President

Martin has more than 25 years experience leading teams and personally developing digital video products and services.  Prior to founding Solekai Systems, Martin led the Digital Video practice at Doctor Design, Inc., a large engineering services firm based in San Diego. 

Ken Furie: VP and GM Boulder Engineering Center

Ken is responsible for project fulfillment and customer satisfaction for Solekai's efforts in the Cable TV market.  Ken has more than 20 years experience leading large development teams.  Ken developed the original Solekai engineering team to meet the growing needs of DIRECTV.  Under Ken's direction, the Boulder Engineering Center has grown to more than 50 people with experience at industry leaders such as OpenTV, Pace Micro, Conexant, CableLabs, and Time Warner Cable.

Madonna Bentz: VP Human Resources

Madonna is responsible for recruiting and developing Solekai's technical and support staff.  Under her leadership, Solekai has expanded its staff of engineers, program managers, operations, and marketing personnel.  Prior to joining Solekai, Madonna was a founder of Jabra®, the market leader in headsets for mobile phones.  Madonna was part of the management team that successfully negotiated the sale of Jabra to GN Netcom.

Larry Luke: Senior Vice President, Business Development

Larry Luke is the Senior Vice President, Business Development for Solekai Systems.  In this role, Larry is responsible for global business development and strategic activities for Solekai.  Larry joined Solekai in 2005 as worldwide Vice President of Sales and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2008.

As a veteran of the digital video industry, Larry has considerable experience in cable, satellite, broadcast and IPTV technology.  Prior to joining Solekai, Larry held several executive positions over an 8 year career at Doctor Design and Wind River Services. Larry earned his Bachelors and Masters degree in Biomechanics from The University of Wyoming.

Craig Williams: Chief Financial Officer

Craig is responsible for all financial management functions for Solekai.  Prior to joining Solekai, Craig served as CFO for  venture-backed companies and wholly-owned subsidiaries of multi-national conglomerates.  Craig delivered a wide variety of results for these companies including private capital offerings, mergers and acquisitions, investor and analyst relations, strategic planning, and compliance and reporting.
